RE: Tips for late season muzzleloading hunting??
I have hunted this season for about 12 years now in Iowa and the one thing that it all depends upon is the weather. If we get alot of snow then those deer herd up and finding them is easy. If the weather does not stay cold then they are still scattered from shotgun hunting. There will be very little hunting pressure especially if you are still hunting around January. I like over looking picked corn fields or food sources if there is snow. The good part is that if you find a big buck he seldom leaves the area because of the lack of pressure and the need for bulking up after rut and hunting season.
