If you want to compare the 30 caliber to the 7MM using the 160 grain bullet in the 7mm, then you would need to use a bullet such as the BTSP in the 190 grain to compare bullets of equal SD. The 300 RUM will fire this bullet at 3200 fps (Hornady Manual) Now you can compare the down range ballistics.
