That sounds like a great "real-life" simulation that you've incorporated into your testing. Those who faild obviously were not paying enough attention to their targets and were making too many assumptions when deciding if it was safe to shoot. The adults are angry that you failed them!?! How can they possibly justify that they are worthy of a passing grade, and safety concious individuals that should join the ranks of licensed hunters, when they fired upon people during their testing. That is just utterly rediculous. It can be you or I next ime that they shoot at "by accident" and the weapons could be real. In my opinion, you've developed a great method and should continue using it. Anything that can assist in identifying weakness or incompetence is definitely worthwile when peoples lives are at risk.
