Yep pretty beat down hunter here. I've hunted hard everyday since October 15th (minus a couple weather days). Then you factor in alllllllllllllll the preseason work (scouting, stands, trimming, trail cams, etc.... and by the time middle of gun season rolls around it really starts to wear on me physically and mentally.
I'll keep plugging along 110% though. Just got turned onto a new piece of land yesterday. I ran out there and did a quick scouting tour (70 acres). Found a coupld nice funnels and tons of sign. Formulated a pretty good gameplan. I have 2 ladder stands that are useless on my other land that I'm going to move today around noon and hunt it hard. My body isn't too enthused about lugging stands all over the county but hey...........gotta do what ya gotta do.
