I used the brand 'REPEL', with the earth scent, and it didn't seem to spook the deer at all, even when I was sitting in swirling winds as the barometer was dropping (i.e. pushing my scent downward) before a storm. I took my head net, sounds like we have the same kind, and put it in a zip lock bag and gave two squirts of Repel into the bag and let it sit overnight. When I opened it it smelled like I had a bag of dirt. Not a single Mosquito came near me that day, compared to the day before when they were all over my eyes and biting my ears through the mask.
