Here in washington hunting with dogs anything other than raccoons and I think yotes is illegal. If a dog chases a deer I'm hunting and I see it as I said before If given the opportunity I will shoot. As for the story told before about the dog getting shot... if it was in its own yard when it was shot then whomever shot it has some serious problems. If the dog was chasing deer and was on someone elses property its fair game as far as I'm concerned. For those of you who let your dogs chase the deer in your backyard, and live in washington state, Its illegal and you can have some serious fines and even have your dogs taken away for it. If you don't want deer in your backyard go out there and pee and the deer will stay away.
