Where I live hunting with dogs ios legal and popular. It is a CRIMINAL offense to shoot a hunting dog and you can and will be prosecuted. The dogs are just acting nuturally, to shoot them would be wrong. If you have a probelm catch the dog and take it up with the owner. Now wild or stray dogs are another story entirely. I personally wouldn't shoot one and have actually had some stray dogs scare a doe to me that I killed.
