It's been 5hrs since and that's all I've been thinking... had I already been standing this would be a totallydifferent type of thread. Also, I know now not to discount any noise in the woods at all. This big doe sounded like a mouse quietly foraging about! Between all the chipmunks and squirrels hopping about and the birds on the ground,the doe's approach just blended right in.
