That guy's foot is history. There is no way to save the foot with that much damage to the bones (especially all of the connective joints in the ankle) and all of the tendons and ligaments, along with the entire arterial structure. I hope that this was one of those uncommon accidents like a branch falling from a tree clocking someone and causing a gun to fire...I would hate to think that this was the result of someone forgetting to put their safety on!
