Default RE: Hawgs Ltd. Buck Fever scents, anyone use them?

Bgidd, I am using them this year in archery season and have bagged a buck as he checked out my mock scrape.

I set up a scrape using the pre and post rut scent and the gland scent sprayed on the overhead branches. Our rut is still 3 weeks away and was a month away when I got this buck, so I'm staying away from the BF Rut scent until it gets closer. Anyway, I also laid a scent trail away from my stand using the Pre/post Rut scent on a rag around my ankle and some of the gland scent sprayed on my pants legs. I then climbed up in my stand.

I waited almost two hours without seeing a thing and was beginning to think the stuff scared away the deer when I heard some sniffing and snorting behind me. It wasn't really like the alarm type of snort, more like it got a good snoot full of something, almost like a sneeze. I really thought that the scent gave me away then, but the buck came in and laid down about 35 yards behind me. He laid there for about 10 minutes and then got up and came across the scent trail I made using the Hawg's Buck Fever stuff. He began sniffing at the trail and licking his nose and then began following it right towards my stand. After about ten yards he came to my mock scrape and spent another 3-4 minutes checking it out and turned broadside to me as he started to urinate right there on the mock scrape, just two hours after I made it!!! I hit him high in the shoulder but got both lungs.

I am keeping that scrape fresh with a dripper using the pre/post rut scent and it is showing a lot of signs of being visited. In another week or two I'm gonna switch the dripper over to the BF Rut scent as pre rut activity starts here in Nebraska.

It has worked just as advertised for me and it'll be hard to get me to try anything else now.
