My thoughts exactly!! So 99.9% of hunters out there have baited in some way. Up here in Saskatchewan (where baiting is legal), mature bucks at the bait pile are EXTREMELY rare. If you want a doe or small buck, hunt the bait. If you're after a nice buck, find the trail tucked back in the heavy brush that only has a couple of tracks on it as thats where they'll be. Anyway whats so bad about feeding dozens of deer and helping them prepare for winter?? And when you do decide to take one you have a nice shot at it to make a clean kill. No suffering and no wasted meat.
