I tried the 50/.430 Harvester Crush Rib sabots last month, and got some pretty serious sabot melt down with 130 grains of Pyrodex pellets. This was in a gun with a really smooth barrel. They do load easier, though - and might be fine for 100 grain charges. Haven't tried the 50/.452 yet.
