Default TV "Unethical" shots

As a first yr bowhunter....I watch a LOT of TV hunts. I watched NO LESS THAN 3 shots, yesterday......on TV shows...that "I" would deem "Unethical". They were all "quartering to" shots.

I just don't get it. Wouldn't simple anatomy explain why we SHOULDN'T take this shot? I just don't understand why they show these shots as "examples". I feel like it's sending the wrong message to my 13 yr old....and to bowhunters in general.

Far be it from me to preach.....but we owe these animals a quick and humane kill. My biggest fear is a bad shot on an animal (bowhunting fear). I have marked on my bow...."God- Make my aim true".

Am I the only one that this bothers???
