This was a young child and parents that were completly oblivious to the rules and regs, not sportsman they did not even have fishing equipment for themselves. Also they were not trying to hide or poach just trying to find out if there child could keep his first fish.
Well, to me, it just doesn't make sense to let a child fish, and actually take the fish out of the water, if you don't know the regs. I can't think of any reason a person should think that taking a fish out of the water without knowing if it's legal is the right thing to do. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.
