Default RE: Anyone try Stealing a Scrape?

What really works is if your hunting a scrape line and find one in a entirely different location, steal dirt/scent from that scrape and transplant it at your scrapeline. It drives the deer in your area bonkers and if you have a tough to get in the open buck it works wonderful..as he checks the scrape faithfully triing to get a bead on these newcomers.

Like mentioned you have to be careful with your scent. I wear rubber boots, latex gloves and place the dirt in a clean plastic bag.

Another trick is tie a tampon onto the sole of your rubber boot, soak in doe n heat pee and walk in cirlces around your shooting lane. This gives you ample shooting and view angles of the buck. Once this is done, slip a plastic bag over your boot/pad and walk out! (Outfitter trick we used to allow the hunter to get a reall good luck at the buck before pulling the trigger...worked well)
