you shot one between 5th and 23rd of november so you would indeed need a anterless permit as seen in the red marked line,so it wouldn't pay to fight it , you will in all likelyhood loose the battle and ending up paying a whole lot more then just a fine...

the only legal time for you to shoot a anterless deer WITHOUT permit is between november 24 and 27 ...as shown in the blue line..
