RE: How do I use a drag line?
The drag line is one of the funniest things about deer hunting. I mean truly freaking hilarious to watch a mature whitetail buck go nuts on scent.
Here's what I do: Drag sometimes right from the truck, other times into the woods away from the truck a bit - straight to my stand on a deer trail and hang the drag in a tree in a shooting lane up wind.
What I've seen: Bucks cross the scent line and work their way all the way in like a magnet. It's really cool.
Oh yeah, I always use doe in estrus scent on my drags.
