RE: Omega Owner Confused and disappointed
Dang!!!! 300 shots!!??!! I put 15 rounds through my new 50 cal stainless camo stock Omega to sight it in back in June then hurt my shoulder (rotator cuff/surgery/out for 16 weeks). 1st day in the woods for 20 minutes and bang - dead deer. 250 Gr. Saboted Hornady SST (same thing as a shockwave), Winchester 209 and 3 777 50 grainers. I hunted with 4 others that got new T/C Omegas (thumbholes, complete laminates, camo and plastic) and every single one of them was sighted in in 15 shots or less. We shot everything from pyrodex or 777 and some liked SST's or shockwaves or powerbelts. Shot the M/L again this past weekend. 3 295 Gr powerbelts almost touching at 50 yards. My Omega is deadly accurate. Sorry to hear about your problems..
PS those Hornady XTP's were a real Bitc# to load in my Omega...
