Default RE: Why aren't they around?

The acorns falling have really influenced the deer traffic this year. Two weeks ago they were ALL OVER one of my stands--a white oak which was dropping acorns. Now, they're 1/2 mile away eating the red oak acorns which are bringing in every deer in the area. They're all over it right now and not even touching the corn field next to it. I went back to the first stand last night. No deer there and the sign is dried up---for now. Guess where I'll be heading back to?

Today's small bucks are tomorrow's trophies.
