Here in North Carolina we have experienced 2 years of very dry weather. Our swamps which usually stand with water are now dry and the water line has receded if not dissapeared.......The water line is usually a good place to see deer traveling. Now that we dont have a water line, they are all over the swamps.........Oak mast has been good for the last two years and scattered through out our dried up swamps causing the deer to be scattered also.....I think if our swamp water levels ever rise to normal, we will see the deer travel the waters edge again..........
