That's part of the responsibility of being a hunter. You know you are going to be taking the life of an animal so be prepared to deal with the less than perfect shot that you must follow up on. Everyone hates to see the animals suffer but at times they may, just like in nature. If a pack of dogs pulled him down they don't worry about it suffering. We as hunters are different. We do our best to make clean kills but if your not prepared to deal with a less than perfect shot where the animal may suffer then you may need to look into another sport.
