Default RE: bringing out this buck?

That is also true.

In my case, I am pretty sure I know where he is bedding. Or at least I know where all of the does are bedding. I am hunting b/t his bedding area and the white oaks he feeds in pretty much everyday. I think this is whereI am messing up. Maybe I need to start hunting where the does are since they are rutting now. He is probably coming in to feed after chasing does all night. What ya think?

Like I said above, he is coming to where I have my stand (in the oaks) and making scrape after scrape and rubbing on a lot of trees. Some are cedars that are 7in round. Just about every two days there is a new rub and scrape.

The only thing about where the does are, is that its thick, (which isn't a problem). The problem is trees. Its an old grown up farm, so theres not many trees where the does are that are tall enough to me to get over 10-12ft high. And as thick as it is, the deer are right on top of you before you can see them. Hunting this low, with the deer that close is just waiting for trouble.
