I don't know. My 742 in '06 will shoot a 3/4" group off a bench at 100 yds with factory Rem ammo and over the years, I've had very few whitetail shots over 200 yards. And I can honestly say, I've never had a jam on any of my Rem autos. So from my experience, I'd say take it and good luck.
