Default RE: Encores ready!

Rem,
That is the same loadI used in my Encore last year. You might want to shoot it a bit more. With 4 inches high at 50 with this load you should still be about 3 inches high at 100, not dead on. Nothing to complain about, just to be aware of. It shoots much flatter than what you indicate and could cause you to miscalculate out past 100 yards. I haven't gotten mine out of the safe yet, still bow season here now, but if I remember correctly, my scope was set for 2 inches high at 100 yards giving me 6 inches low at 200.
The two 50 grain pellets of 777 w/ a 250 grain Shockwave is a no doubt super load. I am going to try to go to 120 grains of loose 777 this year to flatten out the trajectory a little more and use the pellets for being able to quickly reload, using a power belt as the bullet because they reload easy. Of course, accuracy with the powerbelt will be nowhere close to the shockwave, but good enuff for any finish shots if needed (didn't need any last year).
