I shot him at about 40-50 yards from my new shadow hunter stand (
http://www.shadowhunterllc.com/index.html) <---HIGHLY recommended! I use a 245 grain powerbelt with 100 grains of Jim Shockey's premium American Pioneer Powder (loose FFFG). I hit him from above between the shoulders and he didn't move more than three steps. Took out one lung and the heart (and probably spine, but couldn't find the bullet or exit wound, it was getting dark and I wanted to hurry up and get him field dressed... Thank good for the zip saw!!! By the way my Omega is the SS thumbhole variety and I will probably use it instead of my shotgun this year in Ohio... More accurate than any shotgun I have ever seen...
