Never shot any of the Saluki bows, but they do kinda reach out and grab your attention, don't they...

The one thing I have yet to get enough courage to try is bending wood. Doesn't sound like it'd be all that hard to do. Just boil or steam the wood til it gets pliable and clamp it to a formwhile itcools off. I assume you'd have to do the same with the backing before gluing it up, then put the whole shebang into the form while the glue sets.

I keep saying I want to do it, but I haven't had enough 'want to' yet to get the pipe and propane burner to do the boiling.[&:]
