From what you have said, I agree with John--probably something about your release doing it.

You probably are getting close to 200 fps. I chronographed my new Crusader today (first time ever) and I was getting in the mid 180's(had a couple of high 170's when my release was not good). I will have to weigh my arrows, but if I did the math right they weigh well over 600 grains--around 640, I believe, and I am pulling [email protected] Shot one carbon, no idea what it weighed, got 215 fps with it. Plenty fast enough to kill a deer.
