For the money bigcountry bowtech came out with their preditor series Tomcat and Black hawk. Tomcat is 31" ATA and the Black Hawk has a 28.5" ATA and both have a 9 1/2" brace height. I bought the Tomcat and love the mobility you get with it. Comes with bowtechs hush package, so its nice and quiet and very smooth shooting. I ended up paying 379 for the Tomcat package. There is a $50 mail in rebate. I am like you, I like to walk the thickets and this bow makes it alot easier to maneuver around.
