I have read posts of people with similar problems. What they do is after they load the projectile they run a thin film of bore butter on a patch down the barrel to the projectile. From whatI read they claim that the thin film of bore buttersimulates the fowling that would have normally been found in the bore.
All you can do is try it. I personally do not have to do that. If you try it, let us know your results.
That did the trick! I loaded my normal round, ran a patch with bore butter,1st shot now groups withsubsequent shots. No more first shot flyer. Thanks for the suggestion, I can now hunt confident that I know where that first shot will hit.
