BigDaddy - I don't think you will have a problem as long as it stays in the low 40's. I shot a doe a couple years ago and I let her lay overnight in 45 degree weather - she was fine the next day. Back to your arrow...Did the arrow go all the way through (was there blood on each end)? If it didn't, was there any meat on the broadhead or bone fragments?? What color was the hair??? and one last - Didthe arrow stink???? Anyway, I wish you the best of luck finding him.

All -I connected yesterday morning at 9:10 witha big doe. She was hobbling thru the woods and I couldn't figure out why until I got a close up. Somehow, she had lost her hoof at the bottom joint on the leg. All she had was a round nub from the bone on her right front. I don't know if she got it caught in a trap or what. She didn't go more than about 40 yards. I sat there waiting and for her to expire and saw a monster. He came across the penninsula in the swamp about 60 yards from me and wouldn't get any closer - that's too far of a shot for me. He has at least 5 on his left side and boy is he a brute. I guessed him to be a 4 year old. If he is the same one I saw earlier in the season scouting, I would adventure to say he is close to 145 or 150 class deer. He is absolutely beautiful. It's funny though, I never see any big bucks where I hunt until after 9:30am and before 2pm. All of the 125"+ bucks I have shot, have all come within this time frame. Anyone else experience this.

NOTE: Sorry guys, no pics of the doe because it was 70degrees here yesterday. I went straight from the field to the cooler with her.
