RE: Salsa
I use one can stewed tomatoes, 1/4 cup chopped green pepper, 1/4 cup chopped onion, about a 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder, 5 or 6 jalepeno slices, a tablespoon of juice from the jar of jalepenos and then I put it all in the blender, push chop for 3-4 seconds and voila... the best salsa (according to everyone that has ever tasted it) there is, and it's simple. You can get some more flavor and kick if you add some crushed red pepper and simmer it for 1/2 hour on the stovetop...
