Default RE: 270 grain .50 caliber Ball-ets

My Wolverine will shoot roundball real good as long as I do not push them too hard. I do not go over 70 grains of 2f and it will shoot some impressive groups. When I shoot 50 grains of 2f and a patched roundball, I actually think I could small game hunt with the kind of accuracy I get out of it.

As to whether your rifle will shoot ball-ets, all you can do it try. They were on sale last year so I bought three boxes of the 245 and the 270 grains. My Hawkins 1-48 twist shoots the 245 grain ballets excellent. I figured faster twist, longer conical so I went with the 270 this time and it worked... They do look like a conical with a roundball face, and then of course there is a hollow point in them. They should really do a number on something when they hit. I have shot deer with the 245 grain ballet and it flattened them on the spot..
