LOOKS GOOD!! That should put deer down nicely!!

I didn't know they made a 270 grain.

I really don't have a use for the Ball et's though. I shoot the T/C Maxi Balls and thats all I will need, that and Round Balls. I do have some 245's around, so may do some testing this winter, next spring just for the heck of it. I just want to use a bigger bullet on elk, and the Round ball or the Maxi Ball for that matter will be fine for deer.

One more question - Do you use a scope. I can't use a scope during the muzzle loader seasons here, so I don't use one at all. The best group I can get at 50 yards is about 2", 75 is a little worse, and 100 is right around 3.5-4" for 3 shots out of my CVA Bobcat.
