I had the same problem so here is what i did. First i loc-tited the light in with blue loc-tite.Then i took a Limb Saver cable dampner and slid it over the knob on the light which solved two problems for me.I had a slight noise coming from my light because it is old and a bit loose and that corrected that problem as well as making it much easier to turn in wet conditions as rubber is easier to grip than wet metal.hope that helps you out some.
