Got a chance last night to try the 250 gr. Shockwaves on an elk. A band of 8 cows was feeding upwind of a little arroya - we put the sneak on them and, from a tree branch rest at 137 yards, I shot one of the cows broadside in the ribs.

She ran only about 50 feet and went down. To my surprise, the bullet went clear through. Made a wound channel that looked a lot like a 180 grain 30-06. This was the new Omega's first hunt - worked great!
