I would go either with the 300wsm or the 300wm as both offer nearly the same performance.My own personal preference is for heavier guns,so I would probably choose the 300wm with a 26" barrel.That combination would provide better ballistics than the 300wsms with their 23" or 24" barrels.As far as the 300weatherby is concerned,if I wanted that much velocity and recoil,I would skip the weatherby and go instead with the 300ultramag.The 300ultramag offers better ballistics with brass and ammunition costing the same or less.
