RE: Can I raise the draw weight on my patriot??
This is a case of a Dealer, evidently chosen by BowTech, who was not educated or needs to be educated for the safety and preservation of a customer base.
I won't say that this Dealer is the sharpest knife in the drawer; but, he/she made an honest mistake. PSE makes the Synergy cam and manufacturers for years have made post adjustment cams. The Dealer evidently 'assumed' that the post feed cam was designed that way for draw length adjustment.
I think it is, now that BTS and the BowTech factory know about this situation, the manufacturer's responsibility to adequately educate their Dealers, and especially the one mentioned, so that this doesn't happen again.
