Here in sw Ohio the other night and kicked up a ten pointer where i had just moved a new stand. He was bedded about 100 yards behind my stand. I continued scouting and damned the luck, i kicked him up again about two hours later across a the field by another timber line.
I know which route hes using and am wondering if i am doomed, or will he forget all about the encounter by 1 oct

Also, im new to ohio, is it too early to start creating mock scrapes, i havent seen any yet nor any rub.

Or is there another effective method for getting this big boy before the Slug Slingers get him?
