Hunter John,
To tell you the truth, I've done very little experimenting with the AA sub bases. It's been awhile since Ishot these but what little I did use them, my accuracyseemed toimprove some. I looked to see if I documented any of my results and I can not find anything. I must not have been in a serious mood when Idid this, because I usually keep good records.
I'm starting to drift back to shooting my 50cal. guns again and if the weather straightens out this weekend, maybe I can give it another try.
I never gave it a thoughtto cut the petals off above the wad cushion I read about using the AA wads on Toby Bridges web site @hpmuzzleloading .com He had a picture of the wad after the petals were removed and the cushion was not attached.
Archery season starts Oct. 1st in Illinois and I know where I'll be after that.Keep us posted on your findings.
