ORIGINAL: Out for the kill

I don't know if any of you like squirell or not, but here is a good recipe. OFTK
Are you kidding? There is nothing better than squirell gravy. I hunt for squirells in the river bottom where the best tasting ones come out of the hickory trees. In your recipe you list "young squirells". I have found that this is important when frying them. I usually save and mark the old tough ones seperately. When I get several I brown them good and then cook in a stove top pressure cooker for about 15 minutes. The meet turns out extremely tender but not mushy like other methods I have seen others describe.

Nothing hones your shooting skills for deer better than squirell hunting with an old trusty 10/22.Thanks for the post.
