Thndrchiken, I have used the 140 core lokt in my 6.5x55 for years and have to say with perfect satisfaction. Good (complete) penetration from any reasonable angle and really good accuracy. I am only pushing it to 2500 fps since it is my iron sight rifle and won't be used past 150 yards. Have you considered the possibility you have a rough barrel? Does your bullet have a lot of travel before hitting the rifling?
