I just made a deal on a new muzzleloader. Tomorrow morning I will be the proud owner of a new stainless/synthetic omega W/scope and all the extras needed to shoot it. I don't know what powder and bullets he's giving me with the whole dealbut I will find out tomorrow.

I have never owned and never fired or used a muzzleloader before but I have been reading this forum trying to learn in thehopes of trading for this gun. I still have a million questions and was wondering if anyone knows of a website or something that will walk me through the basics of loading, cleaning, shooting, bullets, powders, etc. I'm sure I will be asking questions here but I hate to have to ask all of them.

My goal for this gun is to be able tocleanly make 200 yard shots on whitetails. I live in a shotgun only area and have two stands that routinely give me shots in the 150-200 yard range that I can't take with a shotgun. I'm sick of letting these deer walk by out of shotgun range.
