It sounds to me like your machine might be bogged down with Spyware, Adware and a other assorted junk......mine really started slowing down until I caught on and started using Spyware and Virus scans.
I caughthundreds ofdifferent programs that were on my machine without me knowing it.[:-]

Not anymore.
