I have owned a number of 7600s but not a 35 Whelen. Very under rated rifle in my opinion.

Pros

Accurate all of mine shot 1.5 inches orless
Reliable
Light weight

Cons

Poor trigger
I have heard the recoil of the 35 Whelen is stiff.
Doesn't fit all people well.

If it is a good deal and something you want, I'd jump on it.
