Hey guys, Good to see everyone is checking in now and then. Button it sounds like you have a pretty nice area to hunt with all the corn and what not in the area for feed.

Last night was pretty much one of those evenings I should have just stayed home!

I got to my ground blind to late and bumped a big mature buck only 50 yards from my blind. I was really bummed! Then I sit till dark and see nothing. To add to that I get home and find out my 2 year old son...had decided to follow me to the mountains! He ended up a 1/4 mile up our road following me. My wife was so scared trying to find him. Luckily we live out in the country and have a private drive that only had one neighbor up on out the road. Our neighbor noticed TYSON down at their shop petting their dog. My wife and Jess were frantically searching for Tysondown at our house after I left. She and I had no idea he would follow the trail of my 4 wheeler! That kid really wants to go hunting with me I guess! 20 minutes into looking for TYSON my wife sees our neighbor coming down the road with TYSON..Of course my wifereally took this hard. Like Dee said she saw me leave on the quad, looked away for a minute and he was gone. She feels horrible.. Like I told her...its a good thing we live where we live ...anyway.. last night was pretty much a wreck..I forgot all about that buck once I got home and heard the news of my son.. I was just glad he was safe at home..

Well, I have to work every evening after teaching the rest of this week until Saturday when I get to hunt again.
