Well, our bucks here are going to have to be scattering soon. The combines have started to roll, about 3 weeks earlier than normal. Not saying they will be done by October 1st, actually I know they won't because some corn is still green, but there is damage to the stalks and they are starting to break and fall over here and there so the farmers are picking earlier than they would like.. I like it because you can actually see the animals eating in the fields after the corn is picked instead of them just hiding on 6 foot tall fields.

I have a 60 acre Alfalfa field that I could hunt on.. We get a lot of deer out there sometimes but it is very inconsistant and there is not good cover for them to get out there... Hard to hunt when the field is almost a quarter of a mile wide and a 1/2 mile deep.

Drove a 1 ton Dodge today Shed. Diesel.. 2006. Nice... Bigger than a bus and I almost needed a rope ladder to get into the thing but it wa nice and quiet.. Need to drive down South and drive one of the Duallys they have down there, luckily the same area has a dually ford and a dually Chevy so I can kill three birds with one stone. All the prices I am getting are about the same so it will be which one I like the feel of best. If I had the money on me today I would have walked with that 2006 though. Or at least found a 2005 that would have worked for 5000 cheaper.
