What is a "dad day". I've been a dad now for 31 years and still have a good deal more years to go. I've often wondered if that was my problem. =O)
Seriously, though, one often encounters slumps. Sometimes one is paying too much attention to details and not allowing the body to do what it's been trained to do. Fatigue sometimes sets in as well or one's confidence begins to flag.
Sometimes one just needs to get back to basics as if one had never a shot a bow before. Get closer to the target, slow down and take your time, try to silence the little gremlin in your head who is criticizing everything you do, and so on.
Whatever's wrong ain't the bow and whatever's right is the archer.
