RE: slick trick, fact or fiction
Nothing makes them different than many others except opinions, usually based on limited experience. Just the FACT that I'm reading one pack is dull and one pack is sharp leads me in other directions. But then I've got broadheads (InnerLoc) that are at least five years old, and others from the 70's and guess what---they have blades that when sharp, lined up with the shaft, and tuned properly do just what all these "NEW" broadheads do.
The one NEW feature I see and am happy about is the trend toward all steel ferrules. This has to be much stronger than aluminum. I've bent and even smashed aluminum ferrules by hitting bones. Steel, I think will hold up better. And I also know that smaller, shorter, vented blades will do less windplaning than longer ones.
