What type of measurements or skinning process would I need to do for an antelope? I'm hoping to get an antelope in a few weeks and was curious about field care of the cape.I would like a "head and shoulder" mount. I called around town (kansas City) and was told a few different things ranging from skin and salt immediately to leave the cape on the body and let a processor cape it out for me. Either way they (taxidermists) all told me to make sureI have the cut up the back of the neck and to cut the head off at the skull. Let them do the fine skinning around the eyes, ears, etc. Any thoughts?
