that is not the reason the plug seige,,cause it was not on there before,,actully it did a good job we took guns out sunday evening again and shot them to finish sighing them in,,i had to take plug out to bore sight the gun in again and it came out very easily,,that was after prolly a dozen or so shots,,

thanks for your input yall much appriciated,,as for the sport of muzzleloading,,its fun till u got to clean em,,then it a chore,,but the shooting does make up for it,

You are obviously not using magnum 777 powder loads -- otherwise that plug would of been stuck-solid. I'll guess you are using Pyrodex, APP or Black Mag-3.

If you ever switch to 777, be sure to follow Cayugad's advice about the CVA Breechplug & Nipple Grease.... then crack the plug loose & re-tighten after firing every 8-10 times.
